Customer Reviews:

Good Quality, but there were some issues. By vincent18713
As far as the quality of these spring bar pins, they are very high quality and I would go as far as to say they are stronger and better crafted than most others that are already in many watches. However, the reason I give them 3 stars is because they claim their thickness (1.8mm) is a standard size for watches. Unfortunately, the ones I received were too thick to fit in the watch I purchased them for. They were purchased for a Fossil watch that I had. Since they didn't fit in this watch, I tried to "borrow" the spring bar pin from a Casio watch I had with the same band width and the pin from the Casio watch was a good fit for the Fossil. After this hassle, I ended up trying to get the pins to fit in the Casio watch and ran across the same issue. I ended up having to widen the housing diameter where the pin was supposed to go in order to make it fit, which was a bothersome task and should not have needed to be done. In the end, I'd assume Fossil and at the very least Casio would be watch manufacturers that use "Standard" sizes when they make their watches, but either this was not the case or the thickness of these pins is too great to fit most watches. Just for kicks, I tried these pins in a third watch (from a not as well heard of brand) and they were also too thick. I wish I had known about the thickness being greater than standard before making this purchase.

Cheaper than the local jewelers By E. M. Van Court
Maybe not for you, but for me the price of these spring bars plus shipping and handling was cheaper than a replacement from even a modest local jeweler. These spring bars had better fit and finish than the ones from the local guy, and were the right length for my watch, rather than being a size too big and forced to fit. If you're going to do this yourself, you might consider a WATCH-BRACELET SPRING BAR REMOVER TOOL, but a jewelers' screwdriver works well enough.

Works like a charm By Harry7fingers
My favorite seiko watch band broke and lost this spring pin. So I figured, would have to buy a new watch. A new band cost almost as much as the watch. Purchased this pin and it worked out great.
