Customer Reviews:
Great watch By Brandon
This is a great quality watch that arrived very quick. It also came with a little box/ case for it. Overall I am very pleased with it. Much cheaper on amazon opposed to at a retail storeA lot "sexier" than the picture.. By Arvin Sajat
This watch is exactly what I hoped it would be. It fits nicely and looks way better than in the pictures. I am very pleased with this because I bought it as a present to myself and didn't want to be disappointed by it. Exceeded my expectations. the dial changes brightness according to level of lighting. Indoors and at night it looks darker blue and when outside it shows a brighter blue color....I love it very much
Thank you for this awsome product...great watch, the only one I wear! By John Maddux
I have been in the market for a new watch for some time, but I put off making the purchase. Finally, I saw this watch in a store display case on sale. It was a great looking watch and at I reasonable price so I decided to give it a try. I absolutely love it. I have had the watch for about three months now and I have had no issues. Granted, I expect a watch to last many YEARS not just months, but at this point I feel comfortable writing a positive review. The picture online doesn't do the blue face justice, the blue has a real depth that really looks sharp with the silver hands and white markings. Figuring out how to use the chronograph is a little confusing, as the directions are generic for several variations on how your chronograph might work (the "chronograph" refers to the small dials within the larger face). I have included more on the chronograph, including instructions, below. The watch is waterproof and the band is very study and quite comfortable. Something I like in a watch is a slim profile. I don't like huge faces and I don't like the casing of the watch to tower above my wrist. I can happily say that this watch is a really great fit for me in the middle of the size range. The face is very medium in terms of diameter, and the casing height is (while not exceptionally slim) not so tall that it looks weird or feels cumbersome. The watch comes with all links in the band and, at least for me, the band is very big. I took the watch to Zales and had them resize it. Just FYI there are arrows engraved on the inside of the band on the links that can be removed. It may stump some people that these arrows point both directions, when normally they tell the jeweler which way to push the pins out. No worries, the bi-directional arrows only mean that the pins can be removed from either direction. They momentarily stumped the girl who looked at my watch. She thought maybe it was some strange pin type she could not remove. It's not. Overall, I love this watch. I wear it every day and it has held up brilliantly. I love the way it looks and I would strongly recommend it. Although this is my first Fossil watch, my wife is a longtime fan. When I went in to have this one's band resized, I took in a Fossil watch my wife has had for over 10 years to have the battery replaced. Before that day, I had no idea she had had the watch that long. It looks like it's a year old and works perfectly. I'm thus far very impressed with the quality. The last watch I had was a Swatch with a stainless steel case and a leather band. It lasted two years before the crown (the turnable knob) cold wiggle around to the point that it would stop the hands intermittently throughout the day, resulting in the loss of a few minutes to several hours each day. What a piece of junk!
CHRONOGRAPH: This model's chronograph features three dials. The left and middle dials are part of the stopwatch. The right-hand dial counts up to 24 and indicates the proportion of the day remaining. In order to start the stopwatch, you merely press the top button on the watch. The second dial (middle) will start ticking. After each minute that elapses, the left-hand dial (minutes) will advance by one. To stop the stopwatch, press the top button again. To reset the stopwatch, press the bottom button and the hands will wind back. This is more or less what the instructions say, but as I said they're a little ambiguous.
