Not as good as I thought By JD
I received the package on time and the quality matches it's description. The leather is nice and the padding on the inside is nice and soft. But when I opened it I noticed that it uses a cloth strap to hold the lid open, not hinges. If you look close enough you can kind of see in the picture on the left side. I didn't think it was a big deal until I put my watches in there and the then strap covers your watch on that side. It just doesn't look good, it looks cheap. The other thing is it's smaller than I thought. I don't have huge face watches 44mm and what not but even that size makes it tuff to put watches in next to each other with out them hitting each other. Good on paper but I'd pass this one up. I've gone ahead and ordered the XL 10 case watch. See how that works out!Store and display your watches beautifully. By D. Scranton
This is a very well designed and constructed watch display/storage case. The black leatherette material, glass top and brass locked hinge is beautiful enough to keep on your dresser or bedside table. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with the over-all quality and appearance with this product.

This watch case holder with it clear window is ideal for my Eco-drive watches.
The case has adequate storage for six medium size watches. I was able to fit three 49 - 50 mm watches and three 40 - 43 mm watches in the case holders (by placing smaller watches between the larger watches).
There is ample clearance between the case holder and the upper lid to fit watches with thick cases. My Citizen Quartz Eco Drive Chronograph fits in the case holder well away from the upper lid. (This watch has a 16 mm thick case) - SEE MY PHOTO IN CUSTOMER IMAGES
PROS:
This is a real leather case.
It has an attractive oval shape that looks great on my desk.
I like being able to admire my watches in the case through the watch holder's clear Lucite window.
The clear Lucite (Plexiglas) window allows adequate light to keep my light-charged watches fully charged.
I actually prefer Lucite (Plexiglas) over glass. Lucite can handle a few knocks without shattering. It is also easy to maintain ... a moistened Bounty tissue followed by a dry microfiber cloth is all it takes to keep clean.
The inside of the watch holder is ivory colored suede. This complements the black leather exterior.
The gold plated lock is bright and shiny ... I hope it doesn't tarnish though. (I'll update this review if it does)
I lock the case sometimes ... to keep away prying hands :))
CON:
The watch pillows are actually hard and cannot be adjusted (compressed) to fit smaller watches. This never posed a problem for me though. My watches all have big straps/bands that easily fit around the hard watch pillows.
This watch case is indeed the ideal storage for light-charged watches (such as the Citizen Eco-drives). It's also a great display case for showing off my watch collection.
This case is the perfect special occasion gift for any watch collector.
