First off I rarely review things that I buy here on even if they are good Amazon so the fact that I am writing one now says a lot. I am starting to get into watches again and wanted something sexy in all black with a nice big dial. This watch is exactly what I was looking for and looks really badass! The numbers are a little raised so it gives them a nice 3-d look which I like. As another use noted the stainless steel does attract some finger grease smears but it isn't a deal breaker by any means. This is my second fossil and I will definitely be purchasing more of their products in the future!Great watch with some things to consider.. By Richard Stroker
I ordered this watch brand new with tags off of ebay for a great price. I really liked the Nixon 51-30 and this Fossil version was the closest I've seen without having to spend close to $500. I actually paid $65 for mine and it's legit.
A couple things to consider is that this watch is only water resistant up to 50m. This means you cannot take this watch swimming with you, although you can bathe with it, etc. The Nixon, on the other hand, is a dive watch and thus you are free to do whatever you want with it. To me this wasn't really an issue.
The watch itself is great. It's large, quality made, and dark. The matte black finish its pretty nice in my opinion. I have heard people say the metal band squeaks a little bit and it does, but only when taken off. When the watch is being worn it makes no noise. When you take it off and the hinges have more freedom to move around that's when you get the squeakiness. I am sure it's nothing a little WD-40 couldn't fix.

I bought this watch for my boyfriend and I love it (he hasn't received it yet). I checked it out in person at a department store and it is a nice, heavy, big faced men's watch. I save a lot of money buying it on Amazon too!
