Feminie twist on a men's style By Amy Hughes
They call these style watches a boyfriend style. It's a woman's watch in a men's style. This one has mother-of-pearl chronograph dials, giving it a subtle feminine touch in an otherwise masculine style. It's somewhat smaller than a man's chronograph, but it's large for a woman's watch. It's prettier in the flesh than it is in Amazon's picture.
The mini dials are there pretty much for looks, as they're too small to actually read, and the minutes dial on the chronograph is ruled in half minute tick marks, making it easy to mis-read, even if you can see it. On mine, the second hand in the chronograph aligns one second off when zeroed and reads one second slow when running. The buttons don't push easily, so the chronograph probably can't be used very reliably, even if you can see it.
The 24hr mini dial can't be set to a separate time zone. It's there in case you need to convert to 24-hour time, but it's small, so it's probably easier to just add twelve hours after noon.
The luminosity isn't great, and the numbers and hour dots don't glow, so don't count on being able to read it in the dark.
In short, it's a pretty watch, but don't count on it doing anything but telling time. It seems well-made, except for the second hand in the chronograph on mine, and it's priced reasonably. The warranty is great (11 years!), but it's probably only valid if you buy from an authorized dealer. Check if the warranty is good when you order from Amazon's merchant.
