I like watch faces that are clean and modern. I like the new larger style of 45mm faces and have been wearing this size for years. Most recently enjoyed a RedLine Compressor. It has the grey face and grey metal case color just like the Fossil. There were issues with that design as the crown was SO big it actually would accidentally deploy and the date or time got changed. This Fossil is a clean, rugged look with really nice detailing to the face. Although exactly the same dimensions as my RedLine, the Fossil looks thinner and feels much lighter, an unexpected benefit. The crown isn't so big and the timekeeping has been rock steady in the weeks since I first set it. One big difference between the photo of this watch and the actual watch is that all the face elements are polished metal that reflect light, so it is much more "dazzling" on your wrist than in the photo. This can be both good and bad, which is why I rated a 4 star instead of 5. All that dazzle makes is harder to glance and see the time. Takes a few extra seconds to make out where the ends of the hands are. So - great build, fit, finish, detailing. Fits and wears very comfortably. Keeps accurate time. I am hoping that as I get used to it more the speed of reading the hand locations will improve.Loses time By Jeff Judas
I've had this watch for a week now - and it loses about a minute a day. So every few days I need to correct it. May have to send it back.
